Big Brother opened his doors to another crop of housemates this evening during the live launch show.

But who are the new housemates? Read all about them below!

Chanelle McCleary

Age: 24
Job: Model
From: Manchester
Single

Chanelle has spent over £15,000 on cosmetic surgery. She is known for her very distinctive laugh.

Chanelle calls herself an ‘It’ girl and has featured in Ex On The Beach Once someone annoys her she can’t help but blow her lid, she says ‘I’m like a whirlwind of emotions’.

WHY BIG BROTHER? “I want to let down my weave and cause some mayhem!”

Arthur Fulford

Age: 24
Job: Courier
From: Devon

Arthur is heir to his family’s 3,000 acre Great Fulford Estate. He and his family have featured in two reality shows ‘The F**king Fulfords’ and ‘Life Is Toff’.

Arthur believes that the only way that you can truly learn in life is by making mistakes.

Arthur is a ‘secret bookworm’ and loves learning about ancient classical civilisations.

WHY BIG BROTHER? “An opportunity to have a really good time and an exciting experience!”

Ellie Young

Age: 23
Job: Till operator
From: Yorkshire

Ellie says she is ‘so Yorkshire’ and is proud to represent her home county.

A self-confessed party girl who was featured on the TV series Ibiza Weekender and has done four seasons as a holiday rep.

Ellie admits she is a hopeless romantic looking for her Mr Right – but she always gets her heart broken.

Ellie says her best personality trait is her sense of humour and that fact she doesn’t mind ‘making a fool out of myself and laughing about it’

WHY BIG BROTHER? “I have always wanted to do it and be able to say I have lived in the Big Brother House. Not many people have been given that chance.”

Mandy Longworth

Age: 51
Job: Antiques Dealer
From: Doncaster

Mandy claims to have an ‘inseparable’ mother/daughter relationship with her daughter Charlotte who is also a housemate.

Mandy thinks she has a better sex life than her daughter.

She wants to find love in the house ‘someone of a similar age, a bit of money and a man that hasn’t dated a lot of young women’

WHY BIG BROTHER? “When you get to my age, life feels dull, I am still 21 in my head and I need stimulation. I need something stronger
than coffee – Big Brother is that.”

Charlotte Keys

Age: 24
Job: Estate Agent
From: Doncaster (Lives in London)

Charlotte (on the left) claims to have had the same boy hit on her and her mum Mandy who is also a housemate.

Charlotte has dumped all her previous boyfriends. She is a girl that knows exactly what she wants. If the relationship isn’t working she won’t hesitate to end it.

Charlotte’s friends describe her as the ‘Ice Queen’ because she never cries and she is usually cold to people when she first meets them.

Charlotte has a lot of strong opinions and says ‘she will be the most argumentative housemate in there’.

WHY BIG BROTHER? “It’s the most bizarre situation I’ll ever be in and it’s something I will remember on my death bed”.

Raphael Korine

Age: 22
Job: Psychology Student
From: International

Raphael speaks five languages.

He enjoys playing pranks on people and admits he talks about people behind their backs.

He doesn’t have any guilty pleasures because he doesn’t feel guilty for anything.

When it comes to commitment in relationships, he confesses to having cheated on every partner he’s ever had.

He’s hoping to be able to “pull the strings” in the house and create the drama rather than be involved directly.

WHY BIG BROTHER? ‘I have loved the show since I was a little kid and see it as the ultimate psychology test’.

Rebecca Jane

Age: 32
Job: Owner of Detective Agency
From: Lancashire

Rebecca investigates cheating partners by using attractive people as bait, known as honey-trapping.

Author of ‘The Real Lady Detective Agency’ published in 2013.

Rebecca employs fellow housemate Kieran as a honey-trapper at her detective agency.

Rebecca believes she can win Big Brother and has a strategy to divide the house with Kieran.

Rebecca made her first million at the age of 21.

WHY BIG BROTHER? ‘I want to be locked away from the world and see how I cope without being constantly stimulated. My technology addiction is out of control. It will be like tech rehab’.

Kieran Lee

Age: 25
Job: CCTV Engineer and ‘Honey Trapper’
From: Lancashire

Kieran (on the right) works as a honey-trapper at his fellow housemate Rebecca’s detective agency.

Alpha-male Kieran says he can’t be controlled and is super competitive.

Kieran can be stubborn and has a short fuse this has got him into trouble in the past.

He can be blunt at times and always to cut straight to the point.

Kieran has featured on Ex On The Beach and believes his fellow female housemates will be ‘fighting over him’.

WHY BIG BROTHER? “I want to see how I’ll cope in an environment where I’m trapped and have no control over what I do or where I go”

Joe Quaranta

Age: 55
Job: Nightclub Owner
From: South London

Joe left school at the age of 14.
Joe’s girlfriend is 26 years his junior.

Joe is from Italian heritage and grew up with a big family in South London.

He enjoys living a glamorous lifestyle and travels all over the world enjoying the finer things in life.

WHY BIG BROTHER “I want to do Big Brother to show that the oldies can do well too – bring it on!”

Tom Barber

Age: 21
Job: Nightclub Co-Owner
From: Swansea

Tom isn’t afraid to splash the cash and lives a shamelessly flash lifestyle, he spends all his money on showing off in night clubs.

Tom has his own night club because his Grandad gave it to him. He regularly DJ’s at his club and sees himself as a entrepreneur.

Thomas lives at home with his mum and younger sister & brother.

His family own a house in Marbella, he goes there regularly throughout the year,

he also jets out to Ibiza where he lives up to his party boy reputation.

WHY BIG BROTHER? “It will be the craziest experience of my life but I want to go in there and smash it.”
