Roxanne Pallet leaves the Celebrity Big Brother house

Roxanne Pallett has left the Celebrity Big Brother house Channel 5 have confirmed. The former Emmerdale actress chose to walk in the early hours of this morning.

Pallet had recently found herself embroiled in a row regarding allegations she made about fellow soap star and celebrity housemate, Ryan Thomas.

The incident, first broadcast on Thursday’s highlight show, has already gathered over 11,000 complaints to media regulator Ofcom.

In a statement to Big Blagger, a Channel 5 spokesperson said:

‘Roxanne has decided to leave the BB House. The remaining housemates have been informed.’ 

Pallett told producers Thomas punched her “repeatedly, unprovoked”, adding in tears: “He actually punched me like a boxer would punch a bag. And we weren’t play fighting, there was no banter, it wasn’t a joke.”

She later slept in a separate bedroom from her fellow contestants, saying it was “because I felt uncomfortable, because Ryan assaulted me”. She also said she was “in pain all night”.

Thomas, who was given a formal warning for physical contact by Big Brother, apologised for his actions saying there was no “malice” intended.

A representative for Roxanne said: ‘Roxanne decided to leave the CBB house late last night after deliberating for two days with some sensitive issues she felt strongly about. She has now been reunited with her fiancé and family and thanks everyone for their support during her time in the show.’
