Arisa Cox (born December 7, 1978) is a Canadian television and radio personality, and host of Big Brother Canada. She was born in Toronto, Ontario.
Following her participation in Carleton University’s journalism program, Arisa’s first job in the industry was working as an on-air reporter for CTV Ottawa. She went on to become a participant in the first season of U8TV: The Lofters, and later worked as a creative producer, entertainment and weather reporter for A-Channel Ottawa, as well as an entertainment reporter for The A-List and The Gill Deacon Show. Multi-talented Arisa also acts, having starred in Instant Star, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, The Smart Woman Survival Guide and the CBC mini-series Guns.
Between September 2007 and August 2009, Arisa co-hosted the entertainment newsmagazine E! News Weekend on the now-defunct E! Canada. Following the end of the show’s run, she became an arts and entertainment reporter for the CBC News Network.
Arisa was announced as the host of Big Brother Canada on January 21st 2013. In May 2013, she also took on the role of cohost of the morning show on CHBN-FM in Edmonton, Alberta.
