PICTURES! The new look Celebrity Big Brother house

Channel 5 have today revealed the look of the brand new Celebrity Big Brother house, ahead of the series’ launch on January 3rd.

Upon entering the house, the Celebrities will descend down Big Brother’s now infamous staircase to be greeted by a bright and colourful pop art themed house.

The staircase leads to the living area, where the colourful pop art inspired walls are captioned with comic book themed phrases, including “Meanwhile, in the Big Brother house” and “To be continued…”.

There are 15 housemate portrait screens on the living room wall, while 16 chairs are at the dining table – does this confirm the rumour that controversial former housemate duo Speidi will be returning?

Connected to the living room is the newly decorated bedroom, with a blue, gold and pink colour scheme.

The bathroom is painted in brightly coloured stripes, with the walls covered in different coloured rubber ducks. A large bath is at the centre of the room, while the two showers from previous series are also making a return (Let’s hope they’ve had a deep, deep clean).

The garden is probably the most impressive part of the whole house, with multicoloured walls and pop art inspired decorations. A large pool is at the centre waiting for the new housemates.

And finally, the snug has been given a colourful makeover which provides the perfect space for housemates to escape the rest of the house.

The Diary Room is currently being kept top secret, however we expect to see the first shots of the Diary Room early next week.

Channel 5 have not yet released any photos of the iconic Diary Room, or the second house which was built earlier this year for the summers civilian series.

It has been confirmed that the new series of Celebrity Big Brother will feature both a mix of housemates from previous series, the ‘All Stars’ and new housemates ‘New Stars’.

Celebrity Big Brother returns for its nineteenth series on January 3rd on Channel 5.
