Lily and Khaled have become the 6th and 7th housemates respectively to leave the Big Brother house. Earlier hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best announced which two housemates missed out on reaching the final week of Big Brother.
Over the past few days, viewers cast over a million votes to evict one of five contestants: Ali Bromley, Lily Benson, Khaled Khaled, Emma Morgan, or Rosie Williams (known as Baked Potato).
In the end, Lily and Khaled were eliminated, meaning the remaining three housemates now join Head of House Marcello in the final, along with Nathan, Sarah, Thomas, Segun, and Hanah, bringing them closer to winning the £100,000 prize.
Last night’s episode saw housemate Sarah Griffiths recieve a stern warning for making a ‘joke’ with racist undertones. She apologised and was reminded of the importance of respecting the diversity of housemates.
ITV has also faced criticism for editing out pro-Palestinian symbols, including Ali’s watermelon t-shirt. Big Brother continues Sunday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
