RTE in talks to air Big Brother
RTE – the national broadcaster of Ireland are in talks with Endemol Shine Group to air the reality show – according to reports.
A source told the Irish Sun: “Big Brother has been around a long time but it works brilliantly attracting the young audience RTE2 are after.
“It also produces hundreds of hours of footage which can air across RTE and all their digital formats. There was a row every night, you couldn’t help tuning in.”
The rights to the show currently belong to rival broadcaster TV3, which is rumoured to have another season remaining in it’s contract.
TV3 have received massive ratings with Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother over the past 12 months.
