Jack, Michael and Mickey to face first eviction!
Tonight’s episode revealed the results of the first round of housemate nominations, which were far from predictable thanks to some game-changing secret powers. Jack P. Shepherd and Michael Fabricant received the most nominations from their fellow housemates. Jack racked up a significant eight nominations from Angellica, Chesney, Danny, Donna, Ella, JoJo, Patsy and Trisha. Michael wasn’t far behind with seven nominations, receiving votes from Angellica, Chris, Daley, JoJo, Mickey, Patsy and Trisha. Mickey Rourke faces the public vote thanks to JoJo’s killer nomination.
The episode also unveiled that Chris had earned immunity through a launch night task, rendering him untouchable this week. Further complicating matters, Mickey Rourke used the “Guardian Angel” power to grant immunity to Daley, saving him from nomination.
The nomination process itself was filled with drama. Angellica nominated Michael, explaining, “I can tell you so much about him. What he studied, where he likes to travel, his time at the House of Commons but I don’t think he knows anything about me. When we talk he hasn’t asked me anything about me.”
Michael retaliated by nominating Patsy, stating, “She asked me something about ‘why do I wear a wig?’ And I’m not saying it is a wig actually. But what I am saying is that I found it slightly awkward being asked about it. I just don’t like my hair being raised. People have sensitivities and that’s my sensitivity. We’re all human – I’m more human than most.”
Ella nominated Chesney, citing concerns about his newfound interest in her only arising after nominations were announced.
Mickey initially refused to nominate anyone, declaring, “I choose not to evict anyone. I refuse to do that. I will not pick two people to toss off the shelf.” However, after a reminder from Big Brother about the rules, Mickey reluctantly participated.
With the nominations now public, the fate of Jack, Michael, and Mickey lies in the hands of the viewers. Voting opens at 10 PM tonight (Apr 10) exclusively via the Big Brother app. Viewers are being asked to vote for the housemate they wish to save from eviction.
