Face-To-Face nominations rock the house in shock twist

Emotions run high as housemates nominate in full view – and a brutal twist shakes up the game.

Tonight’s Celebrity Big Brother took a dramatic turn as Big Brother summoned housemates for face-to-face nominations – and it proved to be a night to remember.

In front of each housemate sat a basket containing two eggs. One by one, housemates were asked to place an egg in the baskets of two others they wished to nominate – all while giving their reasons out loud.

First to crack was Angellica, who made a surprising nomination:

“My first nomination is for you, Patsy,” she said. “You’re my bed buddy. We’ve grown very close, and shared stories. But I’m nominating you because sometimes I feel you snap at me. And sometimes I don’t feel confident to help you in the kitchen – a space that I like as well.”

Ella also had a tough moment explaining her choice:

“I’m nominating Chris. I’ve been told you like to play a massive game. And you come into things with a game plan. When Daley said that to me, and told me to be careful, I can’t get it out of my head.”

As the nominations unfolded, the intensity proved too much for some. The emotional fallout left the group stunned – and questioning whether the process could continue.

At the end of the nominations process, it was Angellica, Ella, Chris, Patsy & JoJo who had received the most nominations.

But Big Brother wasn’t done yet.

SAVE AND REPLACE: THE GOLDEN EGG TWIST

In a brutal new twist, Big Brother revealed that one of the nominated housemates would be given the chance to save themselves – if they could find the one golden egg hidden in a central basket.

JoJo struck gold, quite literally, and secured her safety. But with safety came a harsh decision – she had to pick a non-nominated housemate to take her place.

Her choice? Danny, who now finds himself in the firing line despite receiving just one nomination.

FIVE HOUSEMATES FACE THE PUBLIC VOTE IN TRIPLE EVICTION

After an explosive round of nominations and the unforgiving Save and Replace twist, Big Brother revealed that Angellica, Ella, Chris, Danny, and Patsy are all facing the public vote.

Voting opens tonight at 10pm (April 21) exclusively via the Big Brother app, with viewers asked to vote to save their favourite housemate.

And in a shock move, Tuesday’s episode will see not one, not two – but three housemates evicted in a Triple Live Eviction event, airing on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player.
