ITV are reportedly in talks to bring Big Brother back to TV screens in 2023 according to The Sun, with the civilian series airing on the youth orientated ITV2 in Autumn 2023.
According to the paper, producers from producer Banijay UK and ITV are currently in very early and ‘delicate’ talks.
It’s thought that by putting the show on ITV2 that it will open up the show to a new audience and legion of younger fans.
A TV source told The Sun: “ITV is the home of big appointment tell. They know know better than anyone how to put on big live events.”
According to The Sun, ITV really want a deal to happen and hope to have something firm to announce soon.
Their source went on to say: “It needs the full treatment and they’re confident they are the ones who can return it to its legendary former glory.
“It has millions of fans and is one of the most iconic TV shows of its generation.”
