Big Brother returns for third ITV2 series in 2025

ITV has announced the return of Big Brother for a third series in 2025, following the upcoming second series of Celebrity Big Brother.

The news marks a quarter-century of Big Brother in the UK and comes after a hugely successful second series of the original format, which concludes tomorrow night, November 15th.

The current series has dominated social media conversations, and tomorrow’s Live Final will crown a winner who will take home a life-changing cash prize.

But the fun doesn’t stop there! A star-studded second series of Celebrity Big Brother is set to air on ITV1, STV, ITVX, and STV Player in Spring 2025, promising another dose of iconic reality TV. Following this, the third series of Big Brother will return to ITV2 and ITVX.

The original show’s comeback in 2023 on ITV and ITVX has been a phenomenal success, with Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother, along with the live stream and companion shows, amassing a staggering 96 million streams on ITVX.
