Big Brother house to relocate in 2025
The Big Brother house will be packing its bags once again, with plans to relocate from its current home at Garden Studios near Wembley to a brand-new studio in 2025, Big Blagger understands.
The house, which has been located at Garden Studios since the show’s revival on ITV in 2023, has hosted two civilian series and one celebrity edition.
The move will mark the fourth home for the iconic reality show since its UK debut in 2000.
The original, Big Brother house was purpose built near 3 Mills Studios in Bow, London, where it played host to the first two civilian series and the inaugural celebrity edition. In 2002, Channel 4 relocated the house to Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, which became its longest-standing residence. The Elstree house was synonymous with Big Brother for over 16 years, hosting countless memorable moments before Channel 5 aired its final civilian series in 2018.
The show’s current location at Garden Studios brought a fresh chapter for Big Brother when it returned to screens in 2023 after a five-year hiatus. Now, as the franchise continues to evolve, producers appear to be eyeing a new location for the next phase of the show’s history.
Details of the new studio remain under wraps, however Big Blagger understands that the house will remain in London. It’s currently unknown if the planned move will happen ahead of the next series of Celebrity Big Brother which is due to air in April 2025 or the next civilian edition set to air next Autumn.
ITV did not initially respond when approached for comment by Big Blagger, but has since confirmed that the house will move for the upcoming Celebrity series.
