FIRST LOOK: Step inside the new Big Brother house for 2026

The doors are officially open! Big Brother has unveiled its brand new home ahead of the launch of the 2026 series this Sunday, and Big Blagger was lucky enough to step inside for a first look.

Ahead of the arrival of this year’s housemates, we were invited inside for a tour, and the new house certainly isn’t short of colour.

Deep greens, burnt oranges, reds and pinks run throughout the interiors, with curved walls, oversized furniture, bold lighting and plenty of retro-inspired touches giving the house a completely different identity.

The main living space is dominated by rich red and green tones, with curved sofas providing plenty of room for the new housemates to gather. The new Big Brother eye takes pride of place on the screen.

The kitchen takes on a much darker look. Deep green cabinets are paired with gold detailing, orange seating and a black-and-white chequered floor, while a huge central island is likely to become one of the busiest areas of the house over the next eight weeks.

And there’s no shortage of places for those inevitable awkward post-nomination conversations, either. A huge dining table sits alongside the kitchen and living area, surrounded by enough chairs to bring the entire house together.

The storeroom has been given the same warm, retro treatment as the rest of the house, with wood panelling, deep red shelving and cabinetry contrasted against muted green walls and flooring.

Wicker baskets line the shelves, while two large fridges provide plenty of storage for the housemates’ weekly food shop. Dedicated areas are also clearly marked for food and medical supplies – all, of course, under Big Brother’s watchful eye thanks to cameras positioned around the room.

The bedroom is perhaps one of the biggest departures from the rest of the house. Navy blue walls and flooring are contrasted by rows of orange beds, while a huge dressing table sits in the centre of the room.

Things get considerably more extravagant in the bathroom.

The room is drenched in shades of pink, burgundy and terracotta and features a huge sunken-style bath at its centre. Three oversized circular sinks sit beneath large mirrors, while an enormous feather light fitting hangs overhead.

There’s even a giant Big Brother eye built directly into the wall, ensuring housemates are reminded that somebody is always watching.

Outside, the garden continues the retro theme but swaps the darker interior colours for shades of green and burgundy.

A large covered seating area gives the housemates somewhere to gather outdoors, while planting runs throughout the space and another enormous Big Brother eye – this time filled with greenery dominates one wall.

The house might currently look pristine, but something tells us it won’t stay that way for long.

We won’t have to wait much longer to see it filled with its new residents, as Big Brother: Live Launch airs this Sunday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX, with AJ Odudu and Will Best welcoming a brand-new group of housemates through the doors.
