Face to Face Nominations and s Save & Replace Twist Rock The House
It’s nomination time once again in the Big Brother House, but this week, the Housemates must do it face-to-face.
Big Brother gathers the group in the Living Area and tells them they’ll be nominating face-to-face, giving full, frank and valid reasons for why their two chosen Housemates should face eviction.
In a tense twist, Big Brother adds that in these nominations, it pays to be popular. In front of each Housemate are 30 eyes. Each time they are nominated, they’ll lose five eyes from their total, meaning the more nominations they receive, the fewer eyes they’ll have left. Their popularity has never been more valuable.
The tension quickly rises as the group take turns revealing their choices.
Caroline is first to nominate, saying she’s chosen Richard because he’s “so f*****g boring” and that she thinks he’s hiding “a bit of naughtiness” behind his Bible.
Elsa nominates Cameron, explaining that he “comes into group conversations, sits there and doesn’t say anything and then leaves and tells people,” describing the behaviour as “a little sneaky.”
Jenny chooses Emily, saying that during the airplane task she was “dressed up as a hippie and kept making sarcastic comments about people that are Left,” adding that it was “so f*****g annoying.”
Richard nominates Farida, saying that she’s often loud late at night and that her snoring has been keeping people awake.
Zelah nominates Nancy, explaining that while Nancy is expressive, she finds her “default setting of anger” difficult to live with and that it puts her on edge.
After the results are revealed, Big Brother reminds Caroline that she holds the Save & Replace token, meaning she must save one of the nominated Housemates and replace them with another of her choice.
How will Caroline use her power, and who will face the public vote in this week’s live eviction?
Later in the Bathroom, Nancy talks to Sam about being nominated by Zelah. She says she doesn’t appreciate being labelled as angry, explaining that she’s simply expressive, not aggressive. Nancy adds that Zelah has previously joked about her fiery personality being “so Italian,” but now seems to be using that same trait against her as justification for nominating her.
Nancy insists she won’t let it go and plans to confront Zelah about her comments.
With tensions simmering and Caroline now holding the power to change the line-up, tonight’s episode promises yet another dramatic twist in the Big Brother House.
Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 & ITVX.
