Channel 5 have today confirmed that the seventeenth series of Big Brother will kick off on Tuesday 7th June at 9.00pm – meaning there are now less than TWO WEEKS to go until Big Brother throws open his doors once more.
Host Emma Willis will kick off the evenings proceedings during a two hour Live Launch show at 9.00pm, followed by Big Brother’s Bit on the Side at 11pm with Rylan Clark-Neal. Viewers will also be treated to an hour of live streaming at midnight on Channel 5.
Channel 5 revealed the first few details of the new series last week, teasing that the “Game is changing”.
A Channel 5 spokesperson also teased “From Day One the Housemates will be under attack from an unseen ominous dark force that will have a dramatic and divisive effect on the House
Whilst things may appear to be straight forward Big Brother will ensure that no-one will have the entire picture. There may even be deeper connections at work? The Housemates are not alone and they should be prepared for paranoia and suspicion”
The Big Brother house is currently having it’s BIGGEST makeover since it was first built back in 2002 – workers are currently putting the finishing touches to a 700sqm extension and second garden.
During launch week, highlights shows will air at 10.00pm on Wednesday 8th June and then at 9.00pm on Thursday at 9.00pm. The first eviction is currently scheduled for Friday 10th June with a 90 minute show, however it’s unclear if the episode will in fact be an eviction or a twist.
