Farida and Zelah evicted from the Big Brother House in Halloween Double Eviction
It was another dramatic night in the Big Brother House tonight as Farida and Zelah became the fifth and sixth Housemates to be evicted from the series in a double live eviction aired on ITV2 and ITVX.
Earlier this week, Big Brother revealed that Farida, Richard and Zelah would face the public vote following tense nominations. Farida received five nominations from Marcus, Nancy, Richard, Teja and Zelah, while Richard also picked up five from Caroline, Elsa, Farida, Nancy and Sam. Tate had initially been in danger after receiving three nominations from Farida, Sam and Teja, but a major twist saw Caroline shake up the eviction lineup.
After purchasing the Save and Replace token from the EyeDeal Mini Mart, Caroline chose to save Tate from facing the public vote – instead putting Zelah in his place, sealing her fate.
When the public vote closed, hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best announced that Farida and Zelah had received the fewest votes to save and would be leaving the House immediately.
Both Housemates exited to cheers from the crowd before sitting down with AJ and Will for their first live interviews on spin off show Late & Live where they reflected on their time in the House, their relationships, and what ultimately led to their downfall.
With the House now down to eleven, the competition is tighter than ever, and the fallout from the double eviction is sure to cause waves among the remaining Housemates.
Big Brother continues Sunday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX, as the remaining Housemates react to the double eviction and battle to stay in the game.
