Why did you apply to be on this new series of Big Brother?

I think it’ll be an interesting social experiment to blend with people from all different walks of life.

What do you think you’ll bring to the house?

I think I’ll bring energy, comedic energy, vitality and a lot of entertainment and being uplifting.

What are you looking forward to the most about being a housemate?

The detach from life. And to learn about myself is one of the things I’m looking forward to the most. It’s an environment that I’ve never been in before. And to be locked away from life will be interesting to see how I am and learn about myself while I’m in the house.

Do you have a strategy for making it to the final?

My strategy is to be at peace with everyone in the house. I just want to be at peace with everybody no matter how far I make it in the show.

What are you most likely to get nominated for?

Laughing in situations that aren’t funny! I laugh in situations that are quite serious and people might feel disrespected. I do it just to bring some levity to situations, but I do laugh at inappropriate times.

Tell us one thing about yourself you think will surprise people the most

I am terrified of ostriches. And I speak in my sleep sometimes. If someone has told me something delicate it could come out in my sleep.

Who would be your dream celebrity to live with?

Kevin Hart! I’ve been compared to him a lot in terms of personality, height, stature and the way we carry ourselves. That would be very interesting.

What would you do with the money if you won?

Family first. I’d help out my mum as she’s trying to renovate the house. And because I work for Cancer Research UK and I believe in what they’re doing, I would donate some money to Cancer Research – that would be important for me to do.
