Channel 5 have today unveiled the new look Big Brother house, and it has had a MASSIVE makeover.
The living area is now the focal point of the new ‘Big Brother Village’, with a garden inspired open space.
This year, Big Brother returns to having TWO bedrooms, with one looking far more inferior to the other. While one bedroom appears luxurious, the other had beds made from wooden crates, vandalised brick walls and a garish stained carpet.
The kitchen is set out in the style of a tea room, complete with tables and chairs, cake displays and fancy chandeliers, while the lounge has an outdoor feel with stone-look sofas, a ‘grass’ carpet and flower boxes and baskets in abundance.
The bathroom is reminiscent of a 1950s beauty parlour with floral print walls, pastel pink furnishings and over-head dryers.
Housemates will get their first taste of Big Brother’s village life when they descend these stairs on launch night. The steps are covered in foliage and are surrounded by cottages from the middle-ages.
The picture perfect outdoor area has a noticeably smaller pool, box hedges, blossoming trees and a mini bandstand.
Big Brother returns to Channel 5 with a live launch show on June 5th at 8.30pm.
