Jim Davidson allegedly had just £761 in his bank account before his stint on Celebrity Big Brother.
The Sun claims the figure is revealed in accounts filed by the company the comedian uses to handle his earnings.
Jim, who is believed to have earned a whopping £200,000 for appearing on the Channel 5 reality show, is believed to have been bled dry after he was arrested by Operation Yewtree.
Speaking at his first stand-up gig post CBB, he said: ‘After £300,000 of lost earnings and £100,000 lawyers’ fees, I got a phone call saying there would be no further action.’
Recalling the arrest, he added: ‘My phone rang. The person at the other end said: “I’m from Operation Yewtree. I bet you have been expecting us.” I said “No I haven’t.”
‘I was put in a car, told I had been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a woman.’
Jim was cleared in August last year.[symple_divider style=”dotted” margin_top=”20px” margin_bottom=”20px”]
